About Our Margarita’s
We take our margaritas seriously and hold them with the utmost highest regard. We have developed a variety of specialty Margaritas while staying true to the authentic Mexican Margarita. They are a favorite cocktail for many and a special summer pleasure. But what we love about them, specifically, is the mix of a few grain of crunchy crushed salt from the rim combined with citrusy-sweet liquid. Because of this, many of you are know to lick salt, tajin or sugar from the rim of the glass or rotate the glass so we can sip all the way around the rim enjoy every single sip until it’s all gone and ready to order another margarita. While it remains a mystery of where the Margarita was created or where to enjoy the best margarita, everyone knows it was perfected at Limon y Sal here in Downtown Ventura! So, come and try one of many flavors we have to offer from, Tamarindo, Mango, Strawberry, Diablo, and the House Cadillac Margarita.
About Our Mariachi’s
Mariachi Los Toreros was established on October 14, 2013 by Gustavo Bravo in the city of Oxnard, CA. By starting this group, Gustavo was realizing his dream of directing a Mariachi band that he could hold to the highest standards to continue the beautiful culture of Mexico and pass down to new generations the songs and traditions of our people. From the rhythmic sones of Jalisco, the powerful rancheras of Jose Alfredo Jimenez and Vicente Fernandez, to the romantic boleros of Javier Solis, Mariachi Los Toreros™ performs with great pride the music that has inspired and brought so much joy to people for decades.
Like with any new venture, the beginning was difficult for the group. Building a repertoire of songs, acquiring musicians, and getting clients to hear our music was hard. However, Gustavo Bravo’s unfaltering dedication to be the best quickly proved that hard work, and a desire to embrace the romanticism of México’s land, people and beauty of the soul, could win over the hearts of everyone. In the very short time since then, the ensemble has grown to have some of the most talented musicians and singers around and is very lucky to have friends, fans, and clients all over the state of California. We are very grateful and would like to extend a big thank you to all the people who have allowed us into their homes and parties, to celebrate with them any and all the occasions that bring friends and families together.
Going forward, Mariachi Los Toreros™ looks to continue growing together and reach its goal of being the premier Mariachi band in the tri-county area. We are very proud of what we have achieved so far are on our way to the top and expect bigger and better things in this year.

Although, you may enjoy a margarita or listening to mariachi music any day of the week, we have created the perfect experience for you by combining sipping margaritas and enjoying live mariachi music on Mondays. Our Margarita and Mariachi Monday’s are centered around your enjoyment. There’s nothing better than eating delicious authentic Mexican food, washing it down with some amazing margaritas while listening to wonderful live mariachi music preformed by our favorite band Mariachi Los Toreros. Margaritas are available all day long but, our Mariachi music is from 6pm-8pm at Limón y Sal in downtown Ventura. We recommend coming in a bit early, finding a seat at one of your favorite table, ordering your favorite Mexican food and margaritas, enjoying yourself as the Mariachi music starts to fill the room.
